Dear members of Rhetoric Society of Europe

in only two months we will all meet at the Rhetoric in Society conference in Copenhagen. If you haven’t already signed up be sure to do so before the deadline on November 30. This is without a doubt the most important European conference in Rhetoric.

During the conference we will have the first general assembly for RSE, formally adopt our constitution and elect the Executive Board.

As the constituted President I will run for office together with the present Executive Board. We have worked hard for a long time to establish the organization and look forward to be able to continue this important work for the study and teaching of rhetoric in Europe.

If anyone should wish to run against the present President and Executive Board it will be possible to do so. However, it would require that interested parties run as a group of 12 members including four officers (President, Vice president, Secretary and Treasure). More information on this and the general assembly will follow within two weeks by mail and on the RSE website.
